Lijo Jose Pellissery's film called Jallikattu, which premiered at the recent Toronto International Film Festival received a lot of appreciation from film audience and critics for its bold and brave subject. The story line of Lijo Jose Pellissery's film is that of humans fighting an animal who tries to save itself from getting killed. The film sees how humans without giving a thought go after an animal. The film's subject is considered to be a sensitive one, which will address the ancient debate of human life going against animals.  

Lijo Jose Pellissery's film called Jallikattu sees a buffalo being a cause of chaos in a village which come together and collect their might forces to kill a buffalo who is running wild in their village. The film will feature Angamaly Diaries actor Antony Varghese and Chemban Vinod Jose essaying crucial roles. The makers of the film Jallikkattu released its highly anticipated teaser. After a long wait the fans and the film audience who have hearing a lot of positive reviews from the Toronto International Film Festival will be able to watch the teaser.

The film, Jallikkattu in a way question the very conscious of the human being as to why kill an animal who ran wild to save itself from getting killed. Lijo Jose Pellissery's film sees all the villagers from a particular village, plotting to catch the buffalo. All the strategies put to use seem to be failing miserably as the animal is over powering the villagers and also causing the routine life in the village to go haywire. The film's script is written by S. Hareesh and R. Jayakumar.
