Jallikattu Movie Public Review: Lijo Jose Pellissery's film gets appreciation from audience

Lijo Jose Pellissery's Jallikattu had received praises and standing ovation at the Toronto International Film Festival. Finally, the much-awaited film which earned rave reviews at international film festivals has released today, October 4th in India. Inspired from S Hareesh's novel, it's a dark film and it is about a conflict of man and beast. The trailer of the film and hype at the special screenings internationally had set high expectations among the audience. Well, the first reviews of the film are out and Jallikattu has managed to win the hearts of the audience. 

The film is getting a good response on social media. One of the Twitter users wrote, "Visually stunning masterpiece. #LJP clearly uses human emotions and expressions to tell a story in a way that the Malayalam industry never really used. It shows the diffrnt shades of animal in each of us. Its breathtaking and a MUST WATCH." #Jallikattu on the surface level it is just a drama while the beauty of the film remains in the detailing and symbolisms of its characters and sub-plots. Extraordinary work from @girishganges ,so is the sound design. Get ready to blow away for the visuals in the final act.

Jallikattu's brilliant cinematography is by Gireesh Gangadhar, music is by Prashanth Pillai, Deepu Joseph has edited the film. After  Ee Ma Yau (2018), Lijo Jose Pellissery has nailed it yet again. He proves to be one of the most exciting Indian filmmakers around. Lijo Jose fans are eagerly looking forward to what's next in the store.
