Jagapathi Babu says he has not walked out of Sarileru Neekevvaru; director Anil Ravipudi also clarifies; Watch
Sarileru Neekevvaru is garnering headlines as Jagapathi Babu is no longer part of the movie. Reports on how the actor walked out due to creative differences with the filmmakers started to float everywhere. And now both the actor Jagapathi and director Anil Ravipudi took to social media to refute all the claims.
Mahesh Babu and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Sarileru Neekevvaru has been in the news since day one of its announcement. And now, the project is garnering headlines as Jagapathi Babu is no longer part of the movie. Reports on how the actor walked out due to creative differences with the filmmakers started to float everywhere. And now both the actor Jagapathi and director Anil Ravipudi took to social media to refute all the claims.
Anil thanked the actor for understanding why he wasn’t a part of the project and wrote, “Jagapathi Babu garu loved the character in #SarileruNeekevvaru and he always wanted to be a part of the project. He did not walk out from the project. Unfortunately, we could not make it happen due to unavoidable reasons. Looking forward to work with @lamJagguBhali garu very soon. Thanks for understanding the situation and for being very friendly sir."
Jagapathi also posted a video to clarify all the rumours. Babu said, "There have been many rumours floating on the social media that I have walked out of Anil Ravipudi and Mahesh Babu starrer, that is not at all true. I still like my character in the movie and I am ready to do the character even now. And it's true that I have left two movies for it. But due to some unavoidable situations in the industry, which are a part and parcel of life, I am not acting in the film. So I am missing that film and I wish the team nothing but the best." He captioned the video as, "Here's the clarification to all regarding #SarileruNeekevvaru issue."
Speaking of the movie, the same is an action-comedy film and will be produced by AK Entertainments, GMB Entertainments and Sri Venkateswara Creations. Apart from Mahesh and Rashmika, the movie also stars Vijayashanti, Prakash Raj, Ramya Krishna and Rajendra Prasad. The movie is all set to release in January 2020 during the Makar Sankranti.
