#SarileruNeekevvaru trends as Mahesh Babu starrer sets a new record a year after its grand release

Mahesh Babu's blockbuster Telugu film Sarileru Neekevvaru, which released in 2020, recently completed 1 year of its grand release. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, Sarileru Neekevvaru features Rashmika Mandanna in the female lead role. Sarileru Neekevvaru hit the big screen on January 11, 2020, and even a year after, the film continues to set records. Yesterday, one of the popular cinemas at RTC X roads screened Sarileru Neekevvaru as Maha Shivatari special show and movie buffs went berserk. The Mahesh Babu starrer has become the first and only Shivaratri special show with 1L+ Gross earnings in the Telugu state. 

The theatre was seen jam-packed and fans celebrated it as a grand release. The videos and photos of the same have taken social media by storm. One of the Twitter users wrote, "#SarileruNeekevvaru becomes the highest collected movie among the #ShivaRatri special shows with gross of 1.47 Lakhs (1 Show) at Sudarshan 35MM, RTC X roads, Hyd." Hundreds and thousands of Mahesh Babu's fans gathered to watch the film again in the cinemas and it is a rare sight.

Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu recently wrapped up the Dubai schedule of his upcoming film, Sarkaru Vaari Paata. Directed by Parasuram, the film is jointly produced by Mythri Movie Makers, 14 Reels Plus and G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment. Keerthy Suresh plays the female lead and the music is by S Thaman.
