Filmmaker Mani Ratnam, who was hospitalised on Sunday, underwent a routine check-up and his representative confirmed the same in a tweet.
After being admitted to Chennai's Apollo Hospital on Sunday for cardiac-related problems, veteran Tamil filmmaker Mani Ratnam is now back home safe and sound. The filmmaker was rushed to the hospital after he complained of chest pain and the news spread like wild fire last evening. However, media professionals from Chennai kept the filmmaker's fans updated about his health on Twitter and now it looks like the filmmaker is back to work. Mani Ratnam underwent a routine check-up and his representative confirmed the same in a tweet.
Nikkil Murugan, Ratnam's representative wrote, "After a routine check-up, Mani Ratnam sir is back to office today with his routine work. All is Well." However, this is not the first time that Mani Ratnam has been rushed to the hospital hospitalized due to cardiac-related issues. Last year, he was spotted at Apollo Hospital but a hospital official later told IANS that the filmmaker came for a routine check-up and there was nothing to worry about.
