Superstar Rajnikanth’s next is ‘Hara’(Sultan-The Warrior)

Following the grand success of ‘Endhiran’, Superstar Rajnikanth is flying high on top of moon with incredible laurels. Meanwhile, the expectations about the actor’s next film have become topic of the day for media channels and his fans. Earlier it was mentioned that Rajnikanth would either work on a sequel to Baasha or Chandramukhi, which is an unconfirmed buzz till the date.

The latest buzz is that Superstar will resume the shooting of Sultan-The Warrior, which has been renamed as Hara now. This will be the first 3-D animation Indian film produced at a bigger cost in various languages. Rajnikanth’s youngest daughter Soundarya started off shooting the film before couple of years, which was shelved on halfway due to her father’s busy schedules with ‘Endhiran’.

Recently interesting news was revealed that the last 30mins of the film will be in live-action format and K.S. Ravikumar has been signed to direct those sequences. Now it looks like the project will be resumed shortly as the plans are to release the film by April-May 2011.

Hara was first produced by Soundarya Rajnikanth’s home banner Orcher Studios in collaboration with ADLABS. Off the late, ADLABS walked out of the project due to some reasons.
Vidya Balan to act opposite Rajnikanth: The latest buzz in tinsel ville these days is that Vidya Balan is Rajnikanth’s new heroine.
She will soon be seen acting opposite south demi God Rajnikanth in an upcoming flick titled “Hara”.

Sources state that Vidya has been roped in by film makers to play the lead lady opposite Rajnikanth. Vidya is reluctant to act in South films. She is pretty much interested to be a part of a big project.

“Hara” is a 3D computer animated historical drama. In the film Rajnikanth plays the role of an animated character.

The film is being directed, produced, written and designed by Soundarya, Rajnikanth’s daughter. The film will be produced under the banner of Ocher Picture Productions.
