Deaths have to be the harshest reality of lives. They are incidents that no one is ever prepared for, be it an accident or a bound occurrence. To say the least, it is a shock and a loss together that can never be fixed. Social media in today’s age can be extremely insensitive too. They take rumours and their ‘idea’ of fun just to another level.

Celebrities as the World calls it are “public property”, every action, step they take or appearance they make are all in the public eye. However, even they go through rude shock when false rumours are spread about them, especially, ones related to death.

Listed below are a few Bollywood celebrities who fell prey to death hoax rumors.

Amitabh Bachchan

The Megastar of Bollywood is loved by many but even he wasn’t spared from this cruel death rumours. It was reported that he was killed in an accident in the US. Word spread quickly as it was Mr. Bachchan that we were talking about. However, he came forward and dismissed all these baseless rumours.

Lata Mangeshkar

The golden voice has constantly fallen prey to such sad and unfortunate rumours. Once the death hoax gripped in so much pace that people literally started pouring in condolences messages on the Nightingale of India’s official Twitter account. She came out and rubbished all these rumours and urged people to not spread such unhealthy news.

Dilip Kumar

Legendary actor Dilip Kumar has been slightly inactive, owing his growing age. However, not once but thrice has a death hoax about Mr. Kumar been circulated. The actor was declared dead as a Whatsapp message was circulated. Once when the actor had visited a hospital for a regular checkup, rumour started doing the rounds about his death.

Rajnikanth

South’s superstar Rajnikanth unfortunately had to face the same unfortunate rumour. Back in 2011 when Rajnikanth was hospitalised with viral infection. Rumours of him being dead started circulating around, the rumours were so heavy weighed that it was even trending on Twitter. As the news got too much to handle, his wife came forward and clarified all the rumours.

Ayushmann Khurrana

Young heartthrob, Ayushmann Khurrana is a part of this list too. While he was on a family trip, rumours were afloat that the actor met with a snowboarding accident and passed away in an unfortunate manner. This discomforting news was crushed away by Ayushmann himself.

Honey Singh

Recently Honey Singh had taken a sabbatical and cut off from the glamour industry. It is then when people started circulating rumours about his death and what was worse that they also circulated fake photoshopped images.
