Isha Ambani and fiancé Anand Piramal offer prayers at a temple in the city

Wedding bells will be ringing in the Ambani household as Mukesh and Nita Ambani’s daughter Isha Ambani got engaged to Anand Piramal. Isha and Anand have been close friends since a couple of years and he formally proposed to Isha at a temple in Mahabaleshwar. The wedding is slated for December this year. Isha’s twin Akash Ambani also got engaged to Shloka Mehta recently.

The couple celebrated the occasion with their parents – Nita, Mukesh, Swati and Ajay, Isha’s grandparents, Kokilaben Ambani and Purnimaben Dalal, Isha’s twin brother Akash, younger brother Anant, Anand’s sister Nandini, Peter, Anya, Dev and other family members.

The couple visited Siddhivinayak temple with their families to seek blessings. Isha dazzled in a pink colored traditional outfit, whereas Anand kept it simple and classy in a white shirt and blue denim. Mukesh Ambani looked elated as the family posed for photos after they offered prayers.

Isha Ambani’s fiancé Anand Piramal is the Executive Director of Piramal Group and is the head of Piramal Realty. He has also founded Piramal eSwasthya prior to joining the real-estate business. Anand holds a MBA degree from the prestigious Harvard Business School.

Isha Ambani is pursuing her MBA from Stanford University and is on the board of Reliance Jio and Reliance Retail.

At a recent event, Anand thanked would-be father-in-law Mukesh Ambani for encouraging him to become an entrepreneur. He said that he took Mukesh Ambani’s advice about starting his own venture.
