Certifiably, Isha Ambani's wedding to Anand Piramal, is the wedding of the decade! The who's who of India from Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan and others, to Hillary Clinton and even Beyonce, made their way to the most high-profile wedding ever. The wedding was one of the most lavish, with the sangeet taking place in Udaipur and the actual wedding at the Ambani's house - Antilia, in Mumbai, where iconic singer Lata Mangeshkar recorded the Gayatri Mantra for an emotional ceremony that the family hosted.
Post that, the family hosted a reception at the Jio Garden, where legendary composer A R Rahman performed for the guests. It was certainly an event to be remembered!
What was most talked about at the functions though, was the amazing food! The expansive menu boasted of Indian cuisines all over India - literally from Kashmir to Kanyakumari! The exclusively curated menu even consisted of gastronomical delights like Mediterranean and Pan Asian. There were even delectable dimsums that were massively appreciated by guests, all the way from Hong Kong. The exorbitant menu even included Thai and Japanese dishes.
Those who had a sweet tooth were also in for a treat as their dessert options were to die for! The menu made us all wish we had a taste of the drool-worthy food. A pretty Macaroon cart filled with never-ending pastel macaroons from Laduree, a French uber-luxury dessert brand. Their vast dessert counter also included a truffle counter that gave all our desserts a run for their money!
