At a time when sequels are a sure-shot road to entering the 100 crore club, any actor would love to sign a sequel. Right? But for all those who are expecting a sequel to the 2008 movie Fashion, there is sad news because as of now, there is no such sequel in the pipeline. Yes, Kangana Ranuat has dismissed all such reports.

Yes, there were reports that Madhur Bhandarkar has approached Kangana Ranaut to star in the sequel to Fashion. But the actor refutes all such claims. In an interview to a leading daily, Kangana was quoted as saying, “There is no such thing. There are so many rumours floating around. Madhur Sir last called me for his house warming party and that was it. Our conversation was only regarding that and nothing else.”

But we wonder if ever Madhur Bhandarkar plans on making a sequel to Fashion, would Kangana readily accept the offer. Well, we think she will because Kangana bagged her first National Award for Fashion post which she went on to feature in commercial and critically successful movies such as Tanu Weds Manu, Queen and Once Upon a Time in Mumbai, among others.

And looks like Kangana still isn’t over the Rangoon debacle. The actor said, “Nothing can stop a film from being a hit if the audience loves it. Most critics said that was my best work so far. I just felt that the film couldn’t reach as many people as it could have. It’s heartbreaking,” adding, “My only grudge from the film is that not many people saw it.

Currently, Kangana Ranaut is prepping up for her role in the Rani Laxmibai biopic titled Manikarnika directed by Krish.
