Pakistan vs South Africa, ICC Cricket World Cup 2019: Match prediction

Pakistan and South Africa have been the two most disappointing teams teams in the tournament thus far, but the clash between them on Sunday in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, is expected to be an exciting one. One team is finally going to break the spree of disheartening losses, while the other will officially be ruled out of the tournament.

Pakistan's batting, however, looks more balanced, with players like Imam-ul-Haq, Babar Azam, Mohammad Hafeez and Fakhar Zaman all pitching in. South Africa's batting, on the other hand, has relied immensely on Quinton de Kock, Faf du Plessis and Rassie van der Dussen, with players like Hashim Amla and David Miller looking pathetically out of sorts.

Kagiso Rabada has not yet hit his straps, and the bowling will only be reliant on the leg-spin of Imran Tahir. However, they have two all-rounders in Chris Morris and Andile Phehlukwayo who can create an impact, but, when compared to Pakistan's strengths in the bowling departtment, they are on the backfoot.

Mohammad Amir's battle with the Proteas top-order will be the key. It is expected that the former will clinch a few important wickets, and if he can, then the Asian team will walk away with two points.
