The Titanic star Leonardo DiCaprio has refuted all the claims made by the Jair Bolsonaro, President of Brazil of funding Amazon rainforest fires.

The Titanic star Leonardo DiCaprio has refuted all the claims made by the Jair Bolsonaro, President of Brazil of funding Amazon rainforest fires. The actor said in a post made by him on Instagram that he had not funded the in any way. The Once Upon a Time In Hollywood actor also added that he had no hand in whatever allegations were made against the actor by the President of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro. The President of Brazil of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro also added that World Wildlife Fund (WWF) had indeed paid for pictures taken by the volunteering firefighters secure donations which also included a $500,000 donation from The Wolf of Wall Street actor.

Leonardo DiCaprio added that the organizations named by the Brazilian President, Jair Bolsonaro were in no way funded by the Catch Me If You Can actor Leonardo DiCaprio. The Gangs of New York actor Leonardo DiCaprio also added in his compassionate post that he cares deeply about the situation with respect to the Amazon rainforest fires. The actor also wrote in his Instagram post that Brazilian indigenous communities along with the local governments, scientists, educators and public are working day and night to make the future of Amazon more secure and brighter.


At this time of crisis for the Amazon, I support the people of Brazil working to save their natural and cultural heritage. They are an amazing, moving and humbling example of the commitment and passion needed to save the environment. The future of these irreplaceable ecosystems is at stake and I am proud to stand with the groups protecting them. While worthy of support, we did not fund the organizations targeted. I remain committed to supporting the Brazilian indigenous communities, local governments, scientists, educators and general public who are working tirelessly to secure the Amazon for the future of all Brazilians.

The Academy Award winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio also stated that at a time of crisis like the Amazon rainforest fires, the actor fully supports the people of Brazil who are working very hard to save the nature and their culture in every way possible.
