Jon Moxley makes history winning IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship; here's how Renee Young REACTED
Jon Moxley made history when he defeated Juice Robinson for the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship at NJPW's Best of the Super Jr. 26 Finals. Here's how wife Renee Young reacted on her husband's historic win.
Jon Moxley is back with a vengeance as he is proving day-by-day that there is life in wrestling, outside of the WWE. In January 2019, it was announced that Dean Ambrose was not renewing his contract post April. After wrestling alongside his Shield brothers aka Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns for the very last time, Dean said goodbye to WWE. However, while one would assume that the wrestler would take a break from wrestling, we instead saw the rebirth of Jon Moxley as he made his surprise debut at AEW's PPV, Double or Nothing.
Jon Moxley will also be a part of NJPW (New Japan Pro Wrestling) and made his debut at Best of the Super Jr. 26 Finals. The wrestler was up against Juice Robinson for the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship. Jon made history when he won the title by delivering a Death Rider, (a high-angle brainbuster version of the butterfly DDT). Moxley has officially won the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship as well as the WWE United States Championship. The match was a clear-cut violent fists-centric brawl within the crowds which saw Jon in authentic wrestling gear, unlike his jeans and a gunji, while in WWE.
Jon's wife and WWE RAW commentator Renee Young shared a photo of her husband winning the title with a bunch of emoticons, on Instagram. Check out Renee's congratulatory wishes for Moxley on Instagram below:
