AEW wrestler Jon Moxley has THIS to say when asked if we would ever come back to WWE on the right terms
In a recent interview, Jon Moxley was asked about the possibility of him returning to WWE with the 35-year-old wrestler giving a mostly affirmative response, albeit with conditions applied.
Before Jon Moxley became the biggest asset on AEW, wrestling fans were going gaga over the 35-year-old wrestler as Dean Ambrose in WWE. Initially, as a part of The Shield, Ambrose also got some solo spotlight with immense popularity in tow. However, his vision when it came to his character and storytelling was at loggerheads with WWE and hence, 2019 saw Dean quit ties with the wrestling company and join AEW instead.
While it seems unlikely that a WWE return would take place for the next few years at least, the WWE Universe still wonders if one fine day, Moxley would be open to coming back. During an Ask Me Anything session with fans for Bleacher Report, Jon was quizzed if he would come back to WWE on the right terms. To this, Moxley confessed, "You gotta say never say never, because you don't want to run back what you said years later because you don't know what'll happen."
Shedding light on AEW, Jon praised the wrestling company as being so "vital to the wrestling industry" which was one of the reasons why he's so proud to be a part of it. However, Moxley admitted that he wouldn't rule out ever doing business with WWE again as they had a "mutually beneficial relationship" for a long time. If he got a call from them, he would listen but Jon highly doubts both parties would ever be on the same page.
"I'd be open to an idea. I don't not like money. I got a kid on the way and gotta put it through college so ya know. I would take a phone call, but I highly doubt anything would materialize," Moxley quipped in conclusion.
