Emmys 2019 Complete Winners List: Chernobyl & Fleabag win BIG; Game of Thrones bags Outstanding Drama Series

The 71st Emmy Awards is taking place at the Microsoft Theatre tonight. Fleabag, Chernobyl, Game of Thrones and The Marvelous Mrs Maisel were the biggest winners tonight. Check out the Emmys 2019 complete winners list below.

It is a star-studded night in LA as the Emmys 2019 takes place tonight. Undoubtedly one of the most awaited awards show of the year, the 71st Emmy Awards is honouring the best of television at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles. The Emmy nominations were announced a few weeks ago to reveal that Game of Thrones as bagged the highest nominations. With over 32 nods, the HBO show has been nominated for Outstanding Drama Series. Apart from GoT, The Marvelous Mrs Maisel and Chernobyl bagged 20 and 19 nominations, respectively. And boy, they are winning BIG! 

Fleabag bagged four big wins. Phoebe Waller-Bridge took home the Emmy for the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. She also took home an Emmy for Outstanding Writing in a Comedy Series. Harry Bradbeer won Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series. The show also won the award for Outstanding Comedy Series. Chernobyl bagged three awards - writing, directing and for limited series - while Bill Hader won the lead actor award for Barry. Meanwhile, Tony Shalhoub and Alex Borstein won in the Outstanding Comedy Supporting Awards for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Game of Thrones won two awards tonight. Peter Dinklage was awarded Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series whereas the show won Outstanding Drama Series.
