Y Films’ New Short Film Textbook will Show You the Innocent Side of Love
Leave everything that you have on your tables and mind and watch the new short film Textbook launched by Y Films as part of their short films series Love Shots.
We all have our assumptive definition of love and yet we call it indefinable. But, this film sums up the most about the emotion in an innocuous way. It tells you the sweet nothings of love and how beautiful it is when you do something without any expectations for someone.
The odd three-minute movie will take you back to your golden school days. Lovely, innocent faces running around during recess time will make you nostalgic.
Director Ankur Tewari has captured the essence of school life and young minds in an amazing way. You walk down the memory lanes as you see the students singing ‘Good Morning Sir’ in unison. The story revolves around Kamal and Pratima. Both young kids share the school desk. While Pratima looks like the wild one here, Kamal is the reticent child, yet his expressive eyes give you a glimpse of his big heart.
The teacher enters the classroom and asks kids to take out the grammar textbook. Just as most teachers do, he expels the students out of the class, who forgot to bring their textbooks. When Kamal notices Pratima’s worried face as she is searching for the book in her bag, he does a heart-touching thing. And, you must see this video to find out.
