SRK's Darr to be remade into a mini-series, teaser looks promising!
Shah Rukh Khan's character in 1993 hit film Darr is still considered as one of the scary characters ever made in Bollywood. The film was directed by Yash Chopra under YRF banner. Now, YRF's youth wing Y-Films is making a web series on the film.
Titled Darr 2.0, the series will be made on the cyberstalking and digital crimes. It will also feature the characters of Rahul, Kiran and Sunil like as was in the film. In the teaser released today, the male lead is seen clicking and saving girls pictures from the social media. He says the famous dialogue of SRK from the film, "I love K...K...Kiran". The background music is the beautiful melody of Jaadu Teri Nazar from the film.
The cast of the web series has been kept under the wraps. Darr 2.0 is directed by Vikas Chandra and will be released soon on the Y-Films YouTube channel.
