Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya: Life after marriage to give a reality check to the impractical, runaway couple Kartik and Ankita!
Scores of young couples around the country take the plunge into matrimony thinking that either marriage is a cakewalk or they simply lean on their love to survive through testing times. Yet, many marriages fall apart because of impractical choices and attraction, not love, between the two parties involved.
Kartik and Ankita’s tie-up is a true testament of how relationships wobble when they are put to test in the real world!
Kartik (Arijit Taneja), a young charming boy belongs to a very affluent family. He gets attracted towards Ankita (Sheena Shahabadi), who hails from a middle class family and is the daughter of the man working for Kartik’s father.
Although, Kartik’s mother dotes on Ankita for her sweet nature, and is aware of her son’s liking for her, she conveniently chooses to avoid encouraging the couple thinking that at the end of it, they will part ways as they come from a different social strata; hence there is no chance of marriage between the two.
Driven by his impulses, Kartik finally proposes to Ankita for marriage and the latter accepts his proposal. Of course, they are met with strong opposition from their families. Unable to give up on their love, Kartik and Ankita elope and get married in the hope of finding acceptance from their families. However, as it fate would have it, their families get even more miffed and refuse to embrace them at all.
Left with no other choice, Kartik and Ankita are forced to rent out a place and start their married life braving the thorns and thunder on their path. Things go awry as Kartik – the one born with a silver spoon – gets to face many challenges he never thought of. Frustration creeps in between the couple as Kartik finds himself thinking if he made the right choice by leaving his cozy life.
Will Kartik face the hardships for Ankita’s sake or will his survival instincts force him to snap ties with her?
