Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai May 30, 2019 Written Update: Kartik misunderstands Naira
Today in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, we see how Manish seeks Naira's help and compels her to make a tough decision. Later, Kartik feels uncomfortable after reading Mihir's text on her phone.
In the last episode, we see how Kartik feels jealous when Mihir comes to Naira's rescue during their scuffle with the goons. The family gathers to spend some happy time together and starts playing damsharas. Everyone takes their turn and soon it was time for Naira to enact. Lav Kush tells Kartik to guess while all the family members feel that it’ll be too easy for them to guess, as they were bonded well. Naira enacts the name and Kartik has a little difficulty to name the movie. Just then Mihir comes and announces the name of the movie which makes Kartik angry, but he decides to keep his feelings to himself. Mihir comes to honour Manish’s invitation and asks for the reason. Suhasini tells Akhil and Samarth to take Kartik in his room and Swarna, Surekha and Gayu goes in the kitchen for preparations. Naira followed Kartik in the room but stayed back as Manish called for her. Kartik gets upset as Naira did not come behind her, unaware of the reality.
He feels annoyed to know that Naira chose to stay for Mihir and not care about him. Here, Manish takes Naira in the room and tells her that he wanted to discuss something important with both her and Mihir and that was the sole purpose of calling Mihir home. He gets an urgent call and goes out of the room to receive it while Naira thought she would inform Kartik and picks up the phone to intercom him. Before Kartik picked, Naira gets multiple sneezes and mistakenly leaves the receiver of the phone unkempt. Manish entered and her focus shifts to him. Manish comes and tells Naira that one of his client’s daughter was getting married and that he got the order to make her jewellery, however, just when he signed the contract, Kartik got injured. Naira gets quizzed and asks Manish how could Mihir take him out of the situation. Manish tells Naira that Akhil and Samarth were busy in the factory and that they have their hands full with work. He tells her that due to heavy losses in the past, he did not want to let go of the contract and wanted Naira to work with Mihir towards completion of the order.
He tells her that she wouldn’t be able to take the entire responsibility and Kartik was not keeping well, hence, he wanted to seek Mihir’s help. Kartik was listening to the entire conversation and hoped Naira would tell Manish that they were enough to handle the work and that she did not needed Mihir’s help. Just when Naira was about to say something, Samarth comes inside and rushes Manish as Mihir was getting late. Later, Naira comes to the room and Kartik wondered what was Naira’s say in the whole thing. Earlier, Naira had told Manish how Kartik would be able to pull of the deal while she would support him in executing the order, however, Manish pressurizes Naira and makes her promise that she won’t reveal anything to Kartik, as he was supposed to rest. Naira resisted and made sure she keeps forward Kartik’s sentiments but seeing Manish panic, Naira had no choice but to submit to his wish. Kartik tried to make Naira speak about what had happened, but she remained quiet and Kartik feels that she was purposely ignoring the whole thing. Naira goes to get Kartik the herbal drink that Swarna had made for him while here, Naira’s phone was continuously beeping. Kartik resisted looking at her phone but seeing Mihir’s message, Kartik misunderstands Naira.
