Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai May 20, 2019 Written Update: Naira is criticized
Today in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, we see how at the party, the guests criticise Naira. Later, Dadi's unexpected question leaves Manish and Swarna speechless.
In the previous episode, we see how Naira refuses to attend the meeting with Mihir after getting a call from Suhasini. Later, Suhasini and Naira get into a heated argument. Naira calls Mihir to apologize to him but he seemed to be calm and tells Naira what work she had to do next. Naira wondered what kept him so calm. Later, Naira and Kartik reach the Singhania house for Krish’s function, where Samarth announces about Kartik’s deal that he cracked in his terms and conditions. Everyone cheers for him and congratulate him for his success. In the meantime, Naira gets a call from Mihir who tells her to modify a design. After taking the brief from Mihir, she calls up the company from where she had ordered a gift for Krish. She wishes that Kartik likes the gift. Later, she overhears the conversation between Suhasini and the ladies and gets upset. Swarna reminds her that she need not have to worry about anything as long as she has an understanding with Kartik.
She goes to Kirti’s room to work in peace, when she finds Lacchi in Kirti’s heels. Seeing Naira there, Lacchi leaves the room. Naira gets on a video call with Mihir, who showed her few designs that the clients had approved and tells her to make a design on similar line, just when Kartik comes and hugs Naira. She tells Kartik that she had a small work which she will soon complete and join everyone in the party. Here, the function starts and the gift which Naira had ordered for Krish arrives. She comes down and gets busy with Krish and the rest when Mihir calls again. Kartik picks his call and tells Mihir that Naira was busy in the function and she will give him a call back as soon as she could. Mihir speaks rudely with Kartik and mocks him for getting recovered from his illness so soon. He tells Kartik that they should either let Naira work like a professional or make her stay at home completely, as she behaves unprofessional when it comes to family. He also tells Kartik to stop pretending to be liberal when all they did was stop Naira from doing her work. Kartik found Mihir’s comments hurtful, however, as there no fault of Naira, he keeps his feelings to himself.
Later, everyone asks Kartik for Krish’s gift when Naira tells Luv Kush to get the gift. On the gift, the label which had Kartik’s name fell off from it and seeing only Naira’s name on the gift, the ladies comment on Naira and Kartik’s intention. Seeing everyone comment on him, Kartik leaves from there, leaving Naira feel guilty. Here, Suhasini gets an opportunity to berate Naira and she tells her that she shouldn’t have insulted Kartik in front of everyone. Naira keeps her point forward and tells Suhasini that she had mentioned both their names on the gift and that the vendor might have forgotten to write. Just then Kartik comes in and tells everyone to end the discussion. He brings an envelope and gives it to Kirti, mentioning both their names to show Naira how it was supposed to be done. Suhasini tries to convince Manish by asking him that if he had not let Swarna work after marriage, why was he encouraging Naira to work. Suhasini’s question leaves them speechless while her negative feelings regarding Naira working, was acting as slow poison.
