Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is one of the popular and longest-running GEC shows. The show is also one of undefeated TRP toppers and it led to a spin-off as well called Yeh Rishte Hain Pyaar Ke starring Rhea Sharma and Shaheer Sheikh. The series is currently following the lives of Kartik (Mohsin Khan) and Naira(Shivangi Joshi). Currently, how their relationship is going downhill post Naira becoming a businesswoman is being showcased. And now the latest reports suggest that the show will soon take a 5-year leap. As per Spotboye's report, after the time jump, much to fans' dismay, we will apparently see Naira and Kartik as a separated couple and the new storyline is already in works.

Later, Manish intervened and asked them to forget about the same. Later, in the show, we saw how Kartik lashed out on Naira as she backed out from the competition and Kartik's designs got selected.
Speaking of the show, the same premiered on 12 January 2009 and the TV series is produced by Rajan Shahi under the banner of Director's Kut Productions. For the unversed, the series initially showcased actors Hina Khan and Karan Mehra in the lead roles but after few years Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan were roped in as the lead stars.
