Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah September 5, 2019 Written Update: Bhide calls for a meeting
In the latest episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah we see how Bhide calls for a meeting to decide on the activities for Ganesh Chaturti.
The episode starts with a recap of what happened in the previous episode. Jethalal leaves for work and he remembers that he has to give the maintainence cheque to Bhide. He decides to give it to Bhide to make him happy. Sonu wishes Bhide good morning and sits on his back while he is searching for a pen. Sonu leaves for college. Bhide talks to himself about the amount of work he has to complete today. He calls out to Madhavi who comes with a broom in her hand. He reminds her of giving accounts of where she has spent her money. She tells him that she has given accounts of all the expenses she can remember. She tells him that she must have forgotten due to the work load she has. Bhide suggests her to write it down. Madhavi asks Bhide what will he do next month if she doesn't get the accounts right and just then Jethalal arrives. Bhide tries to change the topic. Jethalal asks them what were they discussing about. Bhide tells him that they had a small argument. Jethalal tells them that it is healthy to have a small argument between husband and wife.
Bhide tells Madhavi that if Jethalal is here to give the maintenance cheque then he is ready to lose anything. Jethalal hands over the maintenance cheque to Madhavi. Bhide is shocked to see the cheque. Bhide tells Jethalal that there is a meeting at the clubhouse in the evening to decide on the function for Ganesh Chaturti. Madhavi asks Bhide what is decided for the function however Bhide denies to tell her. Bhide is waiting for everyone however no one turns up except for Tappu Sena. Everyone except for Jethalal and Popatlal. Bapuji asks Bhide to start the meeting. Jethalal walks in and says sarcastically that he heard everything that Iyer spoke about him. Jethalal says he was stuck in traffic while his way from store to home. Popatlal also arrives and Jethalal tells that Iyer never has a problem with him coming late. Taarak Mehta and Bapuji tell them to maintain peace and start with the meeting. Popatlal tells Bhide that he got a call from the marriage bureau. Everyone gets excited and congratulates Popatlal. He clarifies that he got a call to renew the membership and not for a prospective bride.
While the meeting is in session, a mouse causes a commotion and everyone runs helter skelter. Roshan says that she is scared of a mouse. Sodhi says that she shouldn't be scared being his wife. Popatlal gets angry that there are mice in the clubhouse and questions Bhide. Jethalal says that he should delegate some responsibility on the other committee members which includes Iyer and Popatlal. Iyer says that looking at the cleanliness of the society isn't his responsibility, it is Popatlal's. Sodhi asks Popatlal how the mouse entered the clubhouse on his watch. Taarak Mehta tells them that it is festive season of Ganpati bappa and the mouse entering is auspicious. Meeting continues and tells the members that there are a lot of challenges this year. The members assure that they are there to support him. He announces that they won't be able to celebrate Ganpati festival this year. Everyone gets restless and asks him for the reason. He tells them that the problem is that there is no problem. He says he was kidding. Everyone breathes a sign of relief
