Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah May 3, 2019 Written Update: Sevaklal gets arrested
Today we see how Sevaklal admits to the crime and gets arrested and Jethalal gets an order of the phones from the election authority.
The episode starts with Sevaklal's men turning the blame on Jethalal and gang of distributing the phones. They tell the inspectors that there is no concrete evidence against Sevaklal. Also Bhide tells Sodhi that Sevaklal has destroyed the cameras. The election authority tells them that they cannot take action against Sevaklal unless Sevaklal confesses himself to the crime. Just then Sevaklal makes an announcement that he agrees to the crime and how he became selfish because of all the perks and benefits he got as a politician. He tells everyone that he needs one chance to serve the public. The election authority and the police arrest Sevaklal.
The election authority thanks the Gokuldham residents. The Gokuldham residents thank the Garib Nagar residents. Bagha tells Jethalal to pack the phones back. Jethalal says that he can bear a small loss for the nation. Everyone is happy that finally good triumphed over bad. The next day Jethalal enters the godown and finds Bagha and Nattu Kaka standing like a statute. They both tell him that since the time he has come back from Singapore, joy and sorrow are playing a game of seesaw with them. Jethalal tells that he had anticipated the loss and he's not worried about the loss. Nattu Kaka comes up with a scheme to sell off the phones however Jethalal declines the scheme and tells them that they will try to sell the phones as they normally would.

Just then the election authority members arrive there and tell them that as a token of appreciation they would like to purchase the phones for election purpose. The three of them start dancing with joy. Jethalal asks Bagha to get sweets as he wants to treat them and the Gokuldham residents. Jethalal decides to share this news with Bapuji. He makes a video call to Bapuji and explains what happened. Bapuji feels happy and proud of Jethalal. Jethalal tells Bapuji about the phones being bought by the election authority. Just then Bagha and Nattu Kaka come with sweets.
