Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah March 19, 2019 Written Update: Popatlal pushes himself in solitude

In the previous episode, we see how everyone tries to cheer Popatlal and bring him out of his chronic depression. Bapuji gives advice to Popatlal on how to be resilient in life. Bapuji suggests Popatlal to accompany him to buy vegetables. Popatalal declines the offer which infuriates Bapuji. Bapuji threatens Popatlal and he finally comes down. In the meantime, the ladies of the society are gathered to buy vegetables and the topic of discussion is Popatlal. Just then, Popatlal arrives there and seeing his condition the ladies decide to prepare some delicacy for him. He denies and asks for bitter gourd instead as he is in the mood of having something bitter.

He buys bitter gourd and leaves from there singing a sad song. Jethalal is tensed at his warehouse thinking of Popatlal and this is noticed by Bhagha and Nattu kaka. They want him to share his concerns with them. Bhagha suggests to give Popatlal the latest ‘Happy’ phone. Jethalal asks Bhagha to gift wrap a ‘Happy’ mobile phone. Jethalal calls Taarak Mehta to check if he is free for 30 mins. Jethalal explains to Taarak Mehta that he wants to cheer Popatlal up and needs Taarak Mehta’s help. They reach Popatlal’s residence where they find him in a gloomy mood. Jethalal and Taarak Mehta persuade Popatlal to take the phone.

Popatlal declines to take the phone stating that he didn’t like the brand name. Popatlal asks them both to leave him alone. While they are heading back home they meet Sodhi and Dr. Haathi. Sodhi tells them that he has idea through which he can cheer anyone up. Sodhi and Dr. Haathi arrive Popatlal’s house where he is seen eating bitter gourd. Sodhi tells him that one of his friends has organised a party and asks Popatlal to accompany them. Popatlal declines this offer. After much persuasion from Sodhi and Dr. Haathi, Popatlal tells them that he will leave the society if they continue to coax him.
