Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah April 29, 2019 Written Update: Gokuldham residents expose Sevaklal's scandal
Today we see how the Gokuldham residents decide to dress up as Garib Nagar residents to perform a sting operation.
The episode starts with the members discussing how they can expose Sevaklal's scandal. Popatlal says that they can complain to the voting authority. Taarak Mehta says that they cannot approach the voting authority as they don't have concrete evidence against Sevaklal and they may fall in trouble if Sevaklal files a defamation case. Sodhi suggests a aggressive approach however everyone suggests that they take a cautious approach. They decide to catch Sevaklal red handed when he is going to distribute the phones at 11:30pm in Garib Nagar. Just when everyone is thinking of a way of catching Sevaklal Bagha, Nattu Kaka and Bawari arrive there. Popatlal comes up with an idea of going in Garib Nagar and shooting a video of Sevaklal distributing the phones.
Babita suggests going to Garib Nagar dressed up as the residents of Garib Nagar and taking a video. Everyone is in agreement of the idea. Bhide warns Jethalal of the losses he will incur if Sevaklal cancels the phone order. Jethalal says that he is not bothered of the order as he is a responsible citizen of India first and then a businessman. He says that he doesn't fear the losses. They finalise their plan and how they will expose Sevaklal's scandal. Sevaklal is briefing his team on his plans of distributing the phones and buying votes. His men assure him of smooth work and no one will get to know. Elsewhere, all the residents are getting ready to go to Garib Nagar. Popatlal calls the voting authority and tells him about Sevaklal's plans. Taarak Mehta calls the news reporter. Everyone gathers in the society premise dressed up as poor people.
Jethalal asks Taarak Mehta if he has called the news reporter. Just then a car arrives and the news reporter gets down. She tells them on how to use the spy camera. Jethalal tries calling Bagha and Nattu Kaka but they don't answer his calls and just then they come there in a tempo with the phones. Bawari is also with them. Jethalal asks why is she with them dressed up as a Garib Nagar resident. Bagha tells them that even she wants to be part of the sting operation. Bhide tells that they need to get going and not be late to reach Garib Nagar.
