Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah April 19, 2019 Written Update: Jethalal struggles to sell the mobile phones
Today we see how Jethalal leaves no stone unturned in order to sell the phones however fails at it.
The episode begins with Iyer telling everyone that Jethalal will have to sell the phones like a vegetable vendor. Jethalal, Nattu Kaka and Bagha are seen selling the phones on a vegetable cart on the roads. They're unsuccessful at selling the phones so they drop the price of the phones. They finally decide to sell the phones by Kilo. They get a customer to buy the phone at 1500 per kilo. That's when his dream breaks and we get to see Jethalal at the soda shop with the rest of the gents. Everyone suggests him to not take tension and enjoy the soda with them instead. They all decide to call it a night and again assure Jethalal of a quick solution. Jethalal reaches home and Bapuji is able to figure out that Jethalal is stressed. Jethalal describes the problem and Bapuji gives him a pep talk. Bapuji suggests him to be positive about the situation and sleep off stress-free. Jethalal is unable to sleep and keeping thinking of what has happened.
He calls Nattu Kaka however Nattu Kaka and Bagha are sleeping. Bagha finally answers the call thinking it's Bawari. Soon he realises that it's Jethalal and wakes up Nattu Kaka. Nattu Kaka asks him to put the phone on speaker. Jethalal tells them that they have no shame in putting Jethalal is such trouble and they themselves sleeping peacefully. Bagha tells him to think positive and that the new day will come a new hope of a solution. The next day Nattu Kaka and Bagha put up marketing posters in the store and outside the store too. They hope that before Jethalal arrives they should be able to sell at least 3-4 phones. They decide to pray for a customer to buy the phones. Instead Jethalal arrives and seeing them praying. While they have their eyes closed they feel someone's presence in the store unaware of the fact that it's Jethalal.
They open their eyes to see that it's Jethalal. He asks them what they are doing in an irritated tone. He tells them that he hasn't been able to sleep because of the phone's tension. Just then a politician enters the store. He introduces himself and offers Jethalal a lollipop. Jethalal declines it however the politician's workers persuade him to take it. Jethalal calls for mango falooda for all the politician and his workers. The politician asks him if he has any concerns with his business to which Jethalal says everything is okay. The politician asks them to cast their vote. The politician tells Jethalal that he needs some help from him. Jethalal thinks to himself whether the politician is at the store to ask for donations.
