Kasautii Zindagii Kay April 22, 2019 Written Update: Komolika suspects Anurag
Today in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Komolika is infuriated upon learning that Anurag met Prerna in prison. Later, a dejected Veena is offered consolation when she gets a helping hand.
In previous episode, Anurag secretly requests a renowned lawyer to take up Prerna's case. Later, Komolika tries to brainwash Prerna using a misleading story. Komolika shows Prerna a video where Anurag proposes marriage to Komolika and Prerna learns about Anurag’s money minded nature. In the video, Anurag choses money over Prerna and Komolika tells Prerna how it was all about money for Anurag. Prerna breaks down seeing the video while Komolika thought she was able to break Prerna’s confidence. Komolika tells Prerna to go home and not come in between her and Anurag. Komolika remembers Prerna tell her to check the visitor’s diary which rings a bell in Komolika’s mind. Komolika checks with Anurag’s manager Sanjay and finds out that Anurag did not go to office the previous day. Here, Veena gets heartbroken to see no lawyer was agreeing to take Prerna’s case and thinks that she should have not let Prerna go to the Basu house at all. Just when Shekhar was consoling Veena, advocate Ravi Verma comes and asks Veena whether or not he could fight Prerna’s case for them. Just like Anurag had told him to do, Ravi tells Veena that he was willing to fight the case for humanity sake. Later, angry Komolika comes home and looks for Anurag. Komolika demands to know why did he cheat on her and asks him about why did he go to meet Prerna. Anurag manipulates the fact and tells Komolika how ridiculous her thought process was.
Anurag blames Komolika for mistrusting him and tells her that he went to meet Prerna so that he can show her where she belonged. Anurag showed Komolika a jewellery piece which he had bought for her to show her how much he was in love with her. Komolika apologises to Anurag and appreciates his choice of jewellery he had got for her. In the meantime, Veena, Shivani, Shekhar and lawyer Ravi rush towards the court so that they can get Prerna a bail. Komolika wanted to go to the court to see Prerna get the punishment just when Nivedita comes and tells Komolika that she had seen Prerna outside the Basu Badi. Shocked Komolika and Anurag disagrees with Nivi as Prerna was supposed to be in the court for the hearing.
