Kasautii Zindagii Kay’s leading actor Parth Samthaan's father passed away on Friday after he had been hospitalised for a few days. Parth, who plays the role of Anurag Basu in the show, was shooting for the upcoming episodes when he found out about this unfortunate news. He had quickly rushed to the hospital and even Ekta Kapoor had announced the pack up of the show immediately in order to be with Parth and his family in this huge distress. The cast of the show were present alongside him in Pune, where his father's last rites took place. Ever since the news broke out in the media, Parth’s fans have also been mourning his immense loss and giving him constant condolences and support through their tweets and messages.
A few weeks back, the actor had also bought his own house in the city of dreams for his family. Till now he had been staying alone in Mumbai away from his family, and in order to be close to them, he had bought the house so that he can stay together with them.
