Dayaben does something special on Women's day and gets appreciated for it.
Dayaben finds a gold biscuit and goes to the Bhide’s home to ask Aatmaram and Madhavi whether the gold biscuit is theirs. Dayaben congratulates them on finding the gold biscuit. The Bhides tell her it’s not theirs. Dayaben asks Aatmaram Bhide if he knows whose gold biscuit it was. Bhide says that he hopes no bad people doing illegal things have entered the society. Dayaben tells Bhide to keep the biscuit with him and then when people come around asking for it, he can return it to the owner. Madhavi and Aatmaram Bhide then suggest that Dayaben must go around and ask people. Dayaben goes to the Sodhi’s house and asks them if the gold biscuit was theirs. They deny. Dayaben then goes to the Hathi’s house and they too deny the biscuit to be theirs.
Dayaben then in a perplexed state of mind telephones Jethalal to ask her what to do. Just then Champaklal comes out of his room and calls out to Dayaben. Dayaben explains the whole situation to Champaklal. Champaklal tells Dayaben that now as the whole society knows that she has the gold biscuit; people might come to her, making false claims. Champaklal tells Dayaben to go to the police station and give the gold biscuit to them. He tells her to go alone as it is women’s day and she is equal to any man. Dayaben goes to Anjali’s house to take her along to the police station but sees that her house is locked from the outside. She then decides to go to the police station alone.
Dayaben goes to the goregoan police station and the cop asks her how he can help her. The male cops senior female cop yells at the male cop for not making Dayaben sit down and talk to him. She asks him to improve his tone with women. Dayaben tells him that she has a problem with the fact that she located a gold biscuit in Gokuldhaam society. The cop mistakes that she was asked for dowry by her in-laws. Dayaben corrects him and explains the situation to him. The cop is amazed by the fact that Dayaben is extremely honest. The cop is further impressed as all of Gokuldhaam society is filled with honest people. The senior lady cop comes and tells Dayaben that she salutes her as she has done such a great deed on women’s day. She then gifts her something and Dayaben leaves to go home. She telephones her mother and narrates the entire incident to her. Jethalal walks into the house and Dayaben asks him why his mood is spoilt. Jethalal explains the entire situation to her and then she says that she will keep food ready for Jethalal as soon as he is done bathing.
Jethalal asks Dayaben where Champaklal is. Dayaben then tells Jethalal that to lift his spirits up even more she will tell him what she did today. He asks her to tell him what happened. She then narrates the entire incident to Jethalal. Jethalal then tells Dayaben that the gold biscuit she found actually belongs to them itself as Jethalal had merely bought it to gift it to Dayaben on account of women’s day. Dayaben feels embarrassed and stupid.
