Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma March 28 Written Update: An eventful morning for Mr.Bhide
Jethalal gets miffed when Bhide comes to collect the maintenance check.
Jethalal’s wife picks out an outfit for him and takes forever on deciding what he must wear. Jethalal, who is in a hurry, tells his wife to hurry up. He tells her that he only has to go to the store and not for a fashion show. Jethalal gets a call from a man named Ghoda bhai who reminds him that he has to pay his taxes. Jethalal blames Nattu kaka for the delay. Jethalal says that he will send the papers across immediately. He then tells his father not to call Nattu Kaka a gadha even though he messes up situations sometimes. His father says that he did not mean to call Nattu Kaka a gadha. Just then Tappu steps out wearing a pair of shades and asks everybody how he is looking. Everyone praises him, they click a selfie and just then Bhide uncle makes an entry. He tells Jethalal he is there to remind him of the maintenance cheque that he has not sent in. Jethalal’s father gives him an earful and asks him to submit the cheque on time. Jethalal avoids giving in the cheque to Bhide by saying he has forgotten where he has kept it. Jethalal and Dayaben share a moment and Bhide shies away from looking at them. Bhide understands Jethalal telling Dayaben to throw the cheque on Bhide’s face. Jethalal tells Bhide not to get offended as he was just kidding. Bhide checks the cheque that Jethalal gives him for the date and signature and then leaves.
Mr.Bhide is extremely frustrated as nobody in the society has given their maintenance cheques. Just then his wife, Madhavi reminds him of all the household errands he is supposed to run. Mr.Bhide tells her he will complete all the work and then is just about to ride off on his scooter when Gogi bhai meets him. When Mr.Bhide tells him that it is Gudi Padwa the following day, Sodhi bhai in his excitement lifts him up and spins him around. Madhavi Bhide stops him from doing so by saying Gudi Padwa is the following day. Finally Mr.Bhide after an eventful morning rides off on his scooter.
Just then Popatlal stops Mr.Bhide saying he has some work with him. Mr.Bhide refuses to stop but then finally gives in. Popatlal narrates to Mr.Bhide all the chores that he has conducted. He then hands over to Mr.Bhide a Sri Nyaneshwari book. Popatlal tells Mr.Bhide that he is thankful for his presence when they were present when the ladkiwale came to see Popatlal. Just then Madhavi pops out into their balcony and screams at Mr.Bhide for not having left the society yet.
Popatlal decides to plan a surprise on the account of Gudi Padwa for Mr.Bhide. Popatlal calls up Tappu to find out where all the children are.
He then goes to where the children are and tells them that he wants to give Mr.Bhide a surprise. Tappu jokes around and asks whether Popatlal plans on sitting at home and not gracing the whole society with his presence.
