Ye Hai Mohabbatein 21st March Written Update: Raman Bhalla gets arrested; feels guilty about hiding the truth
Raman is in trouble as the police has evidence against him. He will eventually confess to the crime.
The episode starts with Ishita consoling Bala and asking him to be strong for his kids. Bala goes to see his kids after which Ishita looks at Vandu’s pictures and cries her heart out. She wonders how Raman’s car hit her and why Raman isn't telling her anything.
Raman on the other hand is also wondering how to tell Ishita where he was the night the accident happened. He feels sorry that he has to hide the truth from her. The police show up at the door and on asking them if they got to know anything, they say that they've found who the criminal is and it's none other than Raman Bhalla!
Raman refuses to agree at first but the police has enough evidence to prove him wrong. The evidence being the CCTV footage and the watchman’s statement that Raman was leaving in his car at 10 PM the precious day. When the police asks him where he was when the accident took place, he doesn't say anything, so the family members get curious and they suspect Raman.
Raman’s mother cries and asks Ishita’s mother why she didn't stop the police from arresting him to which she replies that Vandita was her own daughter and that she doesn't want to have any relations with the Bhallas. She then leaves from there.
The Bhalla family tries to save him by arranging a lawyer for him. Raman’s mother realizes that nobody must have eaten anything at Vandu’s place so she asks her maid to pack all the food and send it to them. Pihu hears dadi crying and asks her to be strong for Vandita Masi’s children. Shravu refuses to eat anything sent from the Bhalla house because of Raman.
