Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Ananya tells Akshara about Ranveer's body-shaming thoughts; Akshara asks her to call off engagement
The episode begins with Naira petrified on seeing her stalker in the Maheshwari house. She runs down to the hall and in between slips of the stairs and topples down. Everybody gets shocked on seeing Naira. She tells them about having seen the stalker in the house.
Naksh, Naitik and Shaurya search the entire house for him but in vain. Akshara and Naitik constantly keep a watch on Naira. Meanwhile, Shaurya and Akshara notice that Ananya is upset over something. Shaurya goes to her room to as her about it but till then he rushes to answer an important business call. Akshara takes hold of Ananya's situation and talks to her. The unhappy and deeply hurt Ananya then reveals all her tension regarding Ranveer to Akshara and says she is marrying him only for the sake of Varsha's happiness.
Akshara tries to convince her to talk to Ranveer on the weight issue. She asks her to call off the engagement if Ranveer still is rigid on his mentality. Varsha overhears them and gets furious on Akshara.
