Diya Aur Baati Hum: Sandhya to ideate a trick to save dignity of Indian flag on Republic Day!
The episode begins with Sandhya distributing sweets made by Sooraj to the people at Bharat Bhawan on Republic day. They hear a ticking of something that sounds similar to a bomb. Sandhya figures it out to be hidden in one of the flower bouquets kept there. She takes it out and realises that it was just a clock put in to scare the officers and disrupt their Republic day plans.
Meanwhile, a guard stops Arzoo and Resham. The two had come to collect the visa form. Arzoo, on denial sneaks into the office and takes out the visa forms. She also oversees someone taking away the Indian flag kept in a glass box. After following the man, she sees that he hands over the flag to another man who had planned to disrupt the entire occasion.
Bhabho, Babasa and Chotu meet lawyer to get legal papers of Chotu’s adoption. Meenakshi too is there to sign guarantee papers. She tries to avoid on getting noticed by Bhabho and others.
Here, Sandhya figures out that the flag has been stolen by an insider. Till then, Arzoo calls up Sandhya and without revealing her identity, informs her about the culprit.
All the officers arrive on the ground where the flag is to be hoisted. They figure out that the flag that had been stolen along with the glass box, has been tied up on a rope at a very high level from the ground. In order to save the flag from falling onto the ground, amidst the dust, Sandhya gets engrossed in thinking over a way out to save the dignity of the Indian flag. She boosts the morale of officers to face every challenge and is happy to see Sooraj be the first one to support her. To be continued...
