The new Lord Krishna of Television, Saurabh Pandey, has paved his way into to the hearts of the viewers in a short spell of time. These days, he is busy imparting the divine knowledge of Bhagwad Gita Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s Suryaputa Karn on Sony Entertainment Television.

Sharing his thoughts about this remarkable milestone in the show, he says, "I feel very enlightened whenever I speak such pure wisdom of Krishna. Thanks to our writer Vinod Sharma who writes so beautifully. It is a pure joy to play Lord Krishna. I feel I am an instrument of God for peace. I have read others versions of Gita as well."

Saurabh is grateful to viewers for accepting him in Krishna’s avatar on TV even when this iconic role has been portrayed by legendary actors. "By God's grace people have accepted me as Lord Krishna and I am getting a good response. After all Krishna has been played by great actors like Nitish Bharadwaj and Saurabh Raj Jain and they have done excellent work. I am giving my best. Rest is in God's hands,” says Saurabh.

He adds further, "I strongly believe in Karma .What you do will come back to you in the form of Karma. Surprisingly my fist Krishna Gyaan was on Karma and it seems like Lord Krishna is really keeping a close eye on me."

The 27-year-old actor has been once a drug addict. However, by good luck, help came his way and he got rid of the nasty addiction. It was during this time that Saurabh took to spirituality and that explains his belief in Karma theory and God. "God helps those who help themselves. If people listen Krishna Gyaan, it will bring about positive changes in their life because true wisdom always has that effect,” concludes the actor on a positive note.
