Siya Ke Ram Promo: What effect will Sita’s daring move have on her family’s ties with Ram’s clan?
Star Plus’s Siya Ke Ram is giving a fresh perspective of Ramayan with every episode. So, while many of us have known Goddess Sita to be a submissive and duty-bound woman, soon, Siya Ke Ram will introduce Sita as a fearless woman with liberal thoughts.
Sita, who has learned to question audaciously and put forth her views confidently under the tutelage of great scholars like Gargi Vachaknavi, will be seen running into the horse of the Ashwamedha Yagna (horse sacrifice) let loose by the King of Ayodhya, Dashrath.
Knowing that stopping the horse would send out invitation for a battle with Ayodhya’s invincible royal family, Sita would still go ahead and take the risk.
Why she would do so is a mystery.
