Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani: Raj Mata opens Ranaji's eyes to Gayatri's chastity!
In the latest episode, we saw Gayatri feeling lonely after Ranaji leaves her behind in the jungle. She resolves to make her way through the dense forest to reach a safe shore. However, she comes across a snake that bites on her feet, thus leaving her aggrieved and helpless. Gayatri faints due to the unbearable pain of the snake bite in the middle of the forest.
On the other hand, in the palace of Amerkot, Gayatri’s father Govind Seth arrives to see his daughter. The maid servant wakes up Raj Mata, and informs her about Govind Seth’s visit. Raj Mata gets worried as she find Gayatri missing from her room. She thinks of handling Govind Seth by lying to him so as to not to worry him about Gayatri’s whereabouts. Govind Seth apologises to Raj Mata for visiting the palace so late at night. He reveals that Gayatri’s mother saw a bad nightmare and requested him to go and check if Gayatri is alright. He asks permission to meet Gayatri so that he could go back home and cast off his wife’s fears. Raj Mata tactfully answers Govind Seth and assures her that Gayatri is fast asleep in Ranaji’s room. Govind Seth gets assured of Gayatri’s well-being and takes leave from Raj Mata.
As soon as he departs, Raj Mata begins a rigorous enquiry in the palace about Gayatri’s whereabouts. When she questions Kunwarji and Kokila, the former blurts out that he last saw Gayatri at Wilkilson’s house. Raj Mata takes note of this revelation, while Kunwarji struggles to take back his words in vain. Laksh and Swarnalekha too join the scene. Swarna informs Raj Mata that she saw Gayatri leaving to meet Ranaji and must have surely returned along with him. Raj Mata goes to check what Ranaji had been up to and why he did not bring Gayatri along. Ranaji tells Raj Mata that he left Gayatri in the forest as a punishment for cheating on him and the royal clan by sleeping around with Wilkilson. Raj Mata assures him that she can prove that Gayatri was not at fault at all and she is chaste.
The next day, Raj Mata mixes an intoxicating herb in tea and offers it cordially to Kunwarji. He sips the tea and begins acting under its intoxicating influence. Raj Mata asks Kunwarji to speak the truth why Gayatri went to meet Wilkilson at night. Kunwarji reveals that Gayatri went to save Ranaji’s honour but she herself fell into the pit. Ranaji overhears this revelation and gets shocked to realise what grave mistake he has done.
He apologises to Raj Mata for what he did to Gayatri and goes out to rescue her.
Meanwhile, Gayatri wakes up in the forest and begins her journey back to Amerkot city. However, she trips and falls off to hang on to a branch of the mountain cliff.
