Star Plus' upcoming show Khichdi was launched today in the city. The whole cast and creators of the show including Anang Desai, Rajeev Mehta, Supriya Pathak, Vandana Pathak, JD Majethia and Aatish Kapadia.
The whole team was in their jovial best and interacted happily with the media present there. At the press conference, Supriya spoke about JD and Aatish saying, "I have never seen such a producer-director duo. I have met a lot of people. But, they are the best and it’s because of them, we all enjoy doing Khichdi."
While JD said, "You will never see such a magnificent set in the world, this is one strong point. Mark my words when I say that." He also said, "We have been having really hectic schedules. Our wives have been a strong support. They have been taking care of our kids as they are shooting with us."
Supriya spoke about playing Hansa saying, "Khichdi is something that we wanted to do again. We all used to talk that the show is lovable and family oriented and we used to discuss why can’t we get it again. Then, when JD told there is a possibility and I jumped into it. I was missing Hansa personally. I didn’t find it difficult to portray Hansa once again as she was already there within me."
While Vandana said, "I came after a long time and I was nervous. When I changed my clothes and came to the sets, I was Jayashree again."
They were all smiles posing for the shutterbugs present there.
