Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: After Disha Vakani, is brother Mayur Vakani also quitting? Here’s the truth
Reports suggested that Mayur Vakani, brother of Disha Vakani is planning to quit Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. However, he denied the news.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah continues to be one of the longest running shows on the Indian television. The show has been in the news for the mystery behind Dayaben aka Disha Vakani's return to the show post her sabbatical. The actress, who is married to Mayur Padia, a chartered accountant, was blessed with a baby girl in November 2017 and has since then has been missing from the show. Latest reports claim that the producers have finally given a month's ultimatum to the actress to return or she will be replaced.
Amid all this, rumours were rife that her on-screen and real brother Mayur Vakani who plays the role of Sundarlal on the show might also big a farewell to the show. However, Mayur refuted the rumours to TellyChakkar and said, "Taarak Mehta is my favourite show, and along with being a part of the show, I am also an avid watcher. I don’t know how my quitting news started circulating, but I want to clarify that it is incorrect. I am very much a part of the show and will stay until the show is on."
Well, that is certainly going to be a relief for fans but we hope Disha too decides on the same too. Apparently, it is her husband and family who are not allowing Disha to return to the show and want her to prioritise their baby, even though it is very much clear that the actress misses her show.
