Supriya Pathak on Khichdi: Didn’t find it difficult to portray Hansa once again as she was already within me
Today, at the show launch event of Khichdi, the star cast including Supriya Pathak Kapur, Vandana Pathak, Rajeev Mehta and Anang Desai spoke at length about coming back on the show.
Supriya Pathak Kapur is all set to make everyone laugh with one of her most loved characters as Hansa Parekh. Popular show Khichdi is set to be back this month after almost a decade much to the excitement of the fans.
Today, the show was launched in the city and during the media interaction, Supriya spoke at length about doing Khichdi. She stated, "Khichdi is something that we wanted to do again. We all used to talk that the show is lovable and family oriented and we used to discuss why can’t we get it again. Then, when JD (Majethia) told there is a possibility and I jumped into it. I was missing Hansa personally."
She further said, "I didn’t find it difficult to portray Hansa once again as she was already there within me."
Vandana Pathak is set to be back as Jayashree Parekh and talking about it, she said during the media interaction, "I came after a long time and I was nervous. When I changed my clothes and came to the sets, I was Jayashree again."
While Rajeev Mehta who plays the role of Praful Parekh said, "Praful was a turning point in my career. When I am standing on the balcony, they say Praful Tu toh kadha hai. I will give credit to Aatish. I feel I have portrayed Praful well."
And finally, Anang Desai (Babuji) said, "The character is very dear to me. I thoroughly enjoy being on the sets. It’s written really well. I love being Babuji."
