Supriya Pathak: Around three years ago, I met Sridevi on a flight and she literally made me talk like Hansa

Khichdi is back on the samll screen and has ben liked by people for is humour. According to a report in Bombay Times, in one of the episodes last week, JD Majethia, Aatish Kapadia and their team paid a special tribute to Sridevi. Going by the report, the episode was shot in November 2017 way before she passed away.
Actor-producer JD Majethia said, "The episode had an interesting gag involving Sridevi. When she passed away in February, we were reluctant to air that part. However, we then felt that there was nothing derogatory about it and we were referring to her in a humour sequence, which actually will be our tribute to the legendary actress. She had once told us that she loved the first season of our show."
Supriya Pathak, who plays Hansa on the show, too, has a beautiful memory of the actress. "Around three years ago, I met her on a flight and she literally made me talk like Hansa. It was embarrassing for a moment, but that just showed how much she loved the characters,” said Supriya.
In an earlier interview, she was asked was it difficult to play Hansa. On this, she had said, "I had to do a lot of disconnecting from things to play this role. Earlier, I used to always ask people if they want me to answer as Supriya or Hansa. If they said Hansa, and asked me a question, I would say, I don’t know. That’s because Hansa doesn’t know anything! For me, it was important to reach that state of thing in mind where I don’t question anything. That is the happy quotient of Hansa because as an actor mujhe kuch sochna nahin padta (laughs)."
Supriya nailed the character of Dhankor in Goliyon Ki Raas Leela: Ram Leela. Would she want to play a grey character on screen once again? On this, she said, "I would love to do something that is negative. I have just done a film called Arzi, in which I play a politician, and she is not good! I enjoy acting. Give me anything that is chewable, and I will chew on it. I enjoy performing different roles. I never want to get stuck with one character. On TV, you get stuck with one character and people remember you for that. I’m not happy with that. In my case, that did not happen, nobody knows me only as Hansa. I got to play a variety of roles in Ram Leela, Wake Up Sid, Bobby Jasoos, etc."
What do you have to say about it?
