Shaleen Malhotra, who has been playing the role of Yuvraj Chaudhary in Laado 2, will reportedly no longer be a part of the show.

A source informed a leading portal, ‘’The story has explored all angles. Ammaji (Meghna Malik) and Balwant Choudhary (Rituraj Singh) are already out of the show. The revenge story is also over and so, not much is left to explore as far as the track involving Anushka (Avika Gor) and Yuvraj is concerned. The makers are planning a different track now and it will not require Yuvraj's character. He might return after some time, but as of now, his track is over.”

The actor confirmed the news and said that he had a good experience working with the production house. "The story is changing as the revenge track of Anushka (Avika) and me is over..... so now a new plot, new story line will be introduced .... it was a wonderful experience working with the production house, outstanding actors, Dream production team," he said to Pinkvilla.

Recently, Meghna Malik, who returned in season two as Ammaji also walked out of the show. Then, we had the exit of Rituraj Singh, who played the villainous Rantej on the show. The show is now centered around Avika who has become a vigilante of sorts.

Talking about the show, Shaleen had earlier said, ‘’Technically, this is my first daily soap. I have always been a part of bi-weekly shows, including 'Arjun'. I'm glad that I am making my debut in the daily soap genre with 'Laado' as it is not a regular show featuring a typical hero. It has a larger canvas and deals with an important social stigma. The show will highlight the problem or the crimes we hear of every now and then. So, it's not just an entertainment show, but is infotainment. I wasn’t really sure about how it would be for me to take it up, but I must thank my manager Rupesh Sonar for convincing me to do it. It’s a new world for me and a new learning curve. I am excited and nervous at the same time."
