Arjun Bijlani replaces Shaleen Malhotra, to star opposite Drashti Dhami in Ekta Kapoor's Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil!
That Arjun Bijlani is not a part of Naagin 2 wasn't a happy news for his fans. But looks like, lady luck is smiling on the handsome hunk! Post his surprising eviction from Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, the actor has bagged Ekta Kapoor's new show opposite Dhrasti Dhami. Signed on as the male lead, the new serial is loosely based on the Shah Rukh Khan-starrerPardes.
The Star Plus' daily is tentatively titled Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil and Arjun has replaced Shaleen Malhotra in the show. As per a leading daily, a source quoted, "Arjun's stint in Naagin, a show that resurrected his career, was a success and the production house hopes to recreate the magic. The unit will be leaving for Austria soon, where the initial few episodes will be shot. Shaleen has been informed of the development."
Meanwhile, Karanvir Bohra will take over from Arjun to play the hero in season two of Naagin.
