Nakuul Mehta's emotional note on Ishqbaaaz going off air leaves fans heavy hearted, trend #IshqbaaazForever

Ishqbaaaz which began as the love story between two tadibaaz, Shivaay (Nakuul Mehta) and Annika (Surbhi Chandna) is all set to end in another two weeks, much to everyone's dismay. The show has had a dream run on television, breaking several stereotypes and the way couples are perceived on screen. Annika was never a quintessential bahu, nor was Shivaay the perfect male protagonist. They were two imperfect, flawed human beings who made everything look perfect. As Shivika, Nakuul and Surbhi were magical on-screen. 

In December 2018, the show took a generation leap with the story shifting focus to Shivaay and Annika's son Shivaansh (played by Nakuul) and Mannat (Niti Taylor). Even before the love story could take off, the channel decided to pull the plug off it and while that certainly makes everyone sad, Nakuul in an emotional post penned down his feelings ahead of the show's finale episode (to air on 15th March). The actor has praised everyone who had been a part of this "epic" journey. 

As Nakuul's post goes viral, fans feel heavy-hearted with Ishqbaaaz Forever trending like never before. The hashtag was used by Nakuul himself in his post and fans have been getting emotional over it. For staunch Shivika fans, the journey might have ended with the duo, but with the show now finally going off-air, they cannot help but retrace the exciting times they shared with their favourite show.
