Nakuul Mehta pens down an emotional note as Ishqbaaaz is all set to bid goodbye to fans this March. Read on.
Ishqbaaaz is due to end this March on 15th. The show which has been a path-breaker in so many ways saw Nakuul Mehta and Surbhi Chandna take it to heights no one imagined. The journey for Surbhi ended three months back and while it was difficult to come to terms with that for fans, the show is now going off air ending Nakuul’s stint as Shivaansh Singh Oberoi. With a heavy heart and gratitude, Nakuul in a note has penned down an emotional farewell, two weeks before the show’s final episode. In the note, Nakuul has expressed the overwhelming feeling of being a part of this “ epic” journey.
“Last two weeks of Ishqbaaaz until we air our finale episode on 15th March. It is difficult to contain the myriad of emotions running inside of me and yet words elude me”, he writes adding that the journey on the show has been far more exciting than he imagined. He also added that the entire cast and crew gave it their all for the two and half years journey. “There were never half measures. We tried, we did, we failed, we succeeded”, he exclaimed adding that while they had good and bad days, the greatest feeling for them was to be on sets and film the show.
Lastly, thanking fans for all the love, criticism and for embracing the show as their own, Nakuul wrote, “All I feel right now is overwhelming gratitude for all the lives who collaborated on this epic journey and the ones who embraced this as your own. (Read, all of ‘you’ my gangsta’s) It’s our last one week filming on the sets of Ishqbaaaz and I can’t wait to celebrate each of these with the rest of you, my partners in this journey.”
He concluded the beautiful note with “#IshqbaaazForever” hashtag making everyone those who were a part of the journey emotional.
