Whenever we think of Nakuul Mehta, we are reminded of the handsome Shivaansh Oberoi of Ishqbaaaz but little did we know that before rising to fame, Nakuul Mehta used to do theatre and has appeared in the award winning production of Michael Bartlett’s Cock (2013) which was sold out at Prithvi Theatre in Mumbai. And today, on March 27, as the nation celebrates World Theatre Day, Nakuul Mehta got nostalgic as he shared the poster of his play and alongside the picture, Nakuul’s caption read as, “It's World Theatre Day today & this is a poignant reminder to myself that I need to go watch, breathe & do more theatre.”

At the recently held Indian Telly Awards, Nakuul bagged the Best Actor Male in a Lead Role (Fans Choice) award for Ishqbaaaz. Thanks to social media, Nakuul Mehta is quite active on his Instagram channel and often posts his candid selfies, loved-up posts with wifey and videos and we totally love to stalk this dapper actor on social media. As we all know, Nakuul’s Ishqbaaaz has gone off-air as the makers aired the last episode on March 15, 2019 and an emotional Nakuul had taken to social media to pen a message as he wrote, “Last two weeks of Ishqbaaaz until we air our finale episode on 15th March. It's difficult to contain the myriad of emotion running inside of me and yet words elude me. If I was to ask the lad in the picture, circa 2015 (at the pilot shoot of IB) if the journey was everything he had imagined, he'd reply with an even more emphatic smile, today.”

Post Ishqbaaaz, Shaheer Sheikh’s and Rhea Sharma Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke has taken over the slot and Nakuul Mehta had wished all the luck to Shaheer Sheikh as he passed on the baton to Shaheer.

3 years Over 750 Episodes Over 1000 shifts 99999 litres of sweat & blood (Subtle exaggeration) And Infinite love Last two weeks of Ishqbaaaz until we air our finale episode on 15th March. It's difficult to contain the myriad of emotion running inside of me and yet words elude me. If I was to ask the lad in the picture, circa 2015 (at the pilot shoot of IB) if the journey was everything he had imagined, he'd reply with an even more emphatic smile, today. I take the liberty to say this on behalf of the entire cast & crew, that we gave it our all. There were no half measures. We tried, we did, we failed, we succeeded. There were hard days, and then there were great days but the greatest of 'em all was to just be on set each day doing what we all loved doing. All I feel right now is overwhelming gratitude for all the lives who collaborated on this epic journey and the ones embraced this as your own. (Read: all of 'you', my gangsta's) It's our last one week filming on the sets of Ishqbaaaz and I can't wait to celebrate each of these with the rest of you, my partners on this journey. #IshqbaaazForever
