Remember Swami Om, who became a household name with his stint in the popular reality show Bigg Boss’ season 10? The self proclaimed Godman grabbed a lot of eyeballs with his controversial remarks in the house and his behaviour. Today, Swami Om is in the headlines for a very unfortunate reason as the former Bigg Boss 10 contestant has passed away. According to media reports, Swami Om breathed his last on Wednesday, February 3, 20201, due to health issues and wasn’t keeping well for quite some time.

The media reports also suggested that the self proclaimed Godman was tested positive for COVID 19 three months ago. While he had tested negative later, his body was paralysed due to the side effects. Reportedly, he also had a lot of weakness following which he couldn’t walk. Talking about the same, Swami Om’s friend Mukesh Jain's son told Zee News that the former Bigg Boss 10 contestant died due to paralysis. He also mentioned, “Due to paralysis, half of his body was paralysed.” The report also mentioned that Swami Om’s last rites will be performed at Nigam Bodh Ghat in Delhi at around 1:30 pm.

For the uninitiated, Swami Om, who was known for his controversial statements, was ousted from the Bigg Boss house for allegedly throwing his pee on fellow contestants Rohan Mehra and Bani J during a task. This left all the housemates in shock and disgust following which he was kicked out of the show after being rebuked by host Salman Khan.
