EXCLUSIVE: Diya Aur Baati Hum fame Anas Rashid to have a Nikah on this date
Anas Rashid to marry fiance Heena Iqbal next month.
Anas Rashid who rose to fame after essaying the role of Sooraj in Star Plus' popular show Diya Aur Baati Hum is all set to get married next month to fiancée Heena Iqbal.
According to reports, the actor will be tying the knot next month on September 10, 2017. The wedding ceremony will apparently take place in Punjab.
Speaking to us, Anas while confirming the report said, "Yes, it is true. I am excited and nervous at the same time and it is sort of a natural feeling but I am more excited as it will be a celebration sort of a feeling at home."
On being asked if he will be inviting his industry friends for the celebrations, Anas said, “I don't have many friends in the industry but I would send invitations to people I know and it will be most probably from the team of Diya Aur Baati Hum but whether they will turn up or not depends on their availability."
When asked what kind of a wedding it would be, he said, "It will be a traditional wedding, like it has been happening in the family. The 'Nikah' is on 9th of September and on the 10th we will be holding a reception. Everything is being organized by my parents and I will follow all sorts of traditions."
When asked about his honeymoon plans post marriage, Anas laughed and said that they haven't thought about it yet.
The two got engaged in April in the presence of their families and friends.
According to reports, the actor's to-be-wife, Heena is apparently 14 years younger than him. While Anas is all of 38 years, Heena is just 24 years old. The lady hails from a district in Punjab, from the same place Anas belongs to. Though an arranged setup, the two are still in the process of knowing each other.
