Kasautii Zindagii Kay actress Erica Fernandes opens up on rumours about dating co-star Parth Samthaan. Here is what the actress has to say.
The show business can often get to actors, especially when there are constant rumours doing the rounds about them. However, looks like Kasautii Zindagii Kay actress Erica Fernandes does not pay much heed to what's being said as long as she knows what the truth is. Since a very long time, there have been reports about Erica dating co-star Parth Samthaan, however, the actress has finally opened up about it and has outright refuted any such reports.
She told Hindustan times how this is news to her too but also said how she knows that this is a part and parcel of the entertainment industry. She further went on to say how she has known Parth since they started shooting for the show and that they are just good friends, and have a great work relationship. About hanging out with each other, she said how there are a bunch of people always around them and it is when they leave from sets for events that they go together but it does not mean they go home together. In fact, the actress also pointed out how the two stay in different corners of the city.
Talking further, she added how people will talk what they have to and she does not think she can go around explaining to everyone. She said the two of them are good friends and that she can't do anything about the rumours since she can't stop them and that link-up rumours are common for actors who are a part of shows with a romantic storyline. She concluded saying that these things don't bother her since she knows the truth.
Asked if she would date an actor, Erica went on to say how the profession doesn't matter and that she cannot say if she would date one or she wouldn't. However, she also mentioned how for her, the person is important and not the profession.
