Ali Asgar REVEALS how he was molested while dressing up as Dadi at a wedding

Actor Ali Asgar has been a part of several movies and daily soaps, but he became a household name with his stint as Dadi in The Kapil Sharma Show. The actor looks unrecognisable in his Dadi avatar and everyone including the cast, guests and the viewers are left in splits with his act in each and every episode. Apart from the show, Ali appeared as Dadi in several reality shows and even live performances. Recently, during an interaction with The Times of India, the talented actor shared an unfortunate incident.

Ali stated, "Wherever I go for such shows, I don’t let the anchor announce my name, I just enter as Dadi. At this event, by the time I entered, people were already drunk. Unhone uske baad jo hamla kiya hai mere upar - they were putting their hands on my chest, they were pinching my butt, I was molested! Mera tab yeh question tha, ki bhai aapko pata bhi hai ki ye ek aadmi hai jo aurat ka role kar raha hai?"

This is indeed an unfortunate incident!

Ali went on to talk about how comfortable he is to play a female character onscreen. He further said, "But as a performer, I try to balance ki main yeh bhi karun, lekin kuch aur bhi karun."

He also revealed that quite often people forget that he is a guy who is playing the role of a woman and that he considers it as a compliment at times.

Ali will soon be seen in Star Plus' upcoming show Kanpur Waale Khuranas which will go on air from December 15, 2018.
