I don't want to jinx my beautiful present with Ankita: Abhishek Awasthi on relationship with his girlfriend
Abhishek Awasthi made headlines when he was dating the drama queen Rakhi Sawant. However, the relationship turned sour and after 2 years of dating, Abhishek realized that it isn't working anymore.
Love life for Abhishek wasn't an easy one as he also had one more failed relationship with Kalpana Sonawane. But, the actor didn't lose his hope and finally got love in the arms of Ankita Goswami and the two have been dating each other for two years.
Talking about her, he told a leading daily, "Our families have met and are planning our roka in a few days. We will tie the knot by the end of this year. She is the kind of girl I have always wanted to marry. After being at wrong places, God has finally landed me at the right one."
Ankita is nine years younger to Abhishek. Did it affect their relationship in any way? "Not at all. Being an actor, I get to work with people across age groups and I get along with everyone," said the actor.
He also shared that his failed relationship with Rakhi and Kalpana don't affect his present. Awasthi added, "My past doesn't matter anymore. I am superstitious and don't want to jinx my beautiful present with Ankita."
On the work front, he'll be seen in the TV show Prem Ya Paheli... Chandrakanta.
